Luís Barroso

concluded his undergraduate degree at the Law Faculty of the New University of Lisbon (2006) and pursued his LL.M. (Master of Laws) studies at the London School of Economics and Political Science (2007). He is the process of concluding his PhD thesis (in European Union Law), also at the London School of Economics. This dissertation considers how the emergence of regulatory agencies in Europe affects the administrative landscape of the EU and the legitimacy and accountability issues which this raises.
