Joxe Mari Aizega

Joxe Mari Aizega is the Managing Director of the Basque Culinary Center, which integrates the Faculty of Gastronomic Sciences and the R&D Centre for Food and Gastronomy. The centre is the first Gastronomic Faculty in Spain, offering official degree studies in Gastronomy and Culinary Arts. Joxe Mari Aizega is the founder and pioneer of this centre, which has been created with the support of public institutions, the most relevant chefs in the world, private companies and Mondragon Unibertsitatea. 

Joxe Mari Aizega holds a licentiate degree in Business Studies and Law, obtained from the University of the Basque Country and he is a Doctor in Law from the University of the Basque Country. He has been a lecturer in the Faculty of Law in the University of the Basque Country and the Faculty of Business Studies of Mondragon Unibertsitatea.
